Ruaha National Park

Tanzania’s second-largest national park protects a variety of woodland, grassland and riverine habitats, as well as the full gamut of large predators (including African wild dog), huge elephant herds and localized antelope such as sable, roan and greater and lesser kudu.

Game viewing is almost secondary to the untrammeled wilderness atmosphere that envelops this park.
