ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVE AT KILIMANJARO AIRPORT
Arrive Kilimanjaro airport. Meet your private guide from Kaoneka Safaris and transfer to your accommodations. The Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel is in many ways the beauty of Moshi and has been welcoming many safari guests starting on safari.

DAY 2: MOSHOI TO USAMBARA MOUNTAIN
This day after morning meals you will drive up to the heights of the West Usambara Mountain. The lush landscape of montane and agriculture fields is also a change of scene from the rest of the dry country. Arrival at Executive Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: LUSHOTO USAMBARA MOUNTAIN
Today after breakfast start your day visiting local people at Lushoto where Sambaa ethnics are found. The Shambaa people speak the Shambala language, also known as Kisambaa, Shambaa. Kishambaa is the Sambaa word for the Shambala language.
They are related to the Bondei and Zigua people, and the Shambala language is mutually intelligible with Bondei and Zigua, with the three groups sharing significant overlap in territory and a long history of intermarriage. Sambaa, Zigua and Bondei are belongs to the North East Coastal Bantu language. Enjoy the day visit with locals and their daily activities. Lunch at Irente view point then proceed with the culture program with your local guide. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: LUSHOTO TO MARANGU KILIMANJARO
Depart Lushoto after breakfast drive towards Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrival at Capricorn hotel one of the beautiful hotels in Marangu Kilimanjaro and has been welcoming generations of safari guest to the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Check in for lunch then enjoy the swimming pool and relax at the hotel ready for the next day culture tour at the Marangu area.

DAY 5: KILIMANJARO CHAGA CULTURAL VISIT
At the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, outside the entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park, lies the beautiful town of Marangu Chaga. The Bantu speaking people live on the fertile slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania. The Chaga are descendants of immigrants of various group who migrated into the once forest-covered foothills. Most of the 400 main clans are of Kamba origin; others are from Taita, Maasai and other groups.
Enjoy the day with the Chaga by visiting their homes. Magnificent views of the valleys and waterfalls also offer great entertainment. With more than seven waterfalls in the vicinity one can spend the whole day.

DAY 6: MARANGU KILIMANJARO TO LAKE MANYARA
This day after breakfast you will drive towards the great Rift Valley. Stop for lunch at Arusha at Shanga – Shanga. Experience the small business which employs over 50 disabled, mute and deaf people and produces a range of gorgeous necklaces made from beads and a selection of vibrant silk, kanga, chiffon and voile colored fabrics. After lunch proceed with drive to Manyara and arrival for dinner.

DAY 7: LAKE MANYARA AND MTO WA MBU TOUR
After breakfast drive to Mto wa Mbu for culture tour. Mto wa Mbu is home for more than 120 ethics, Mto wa Mbu means “River of Mosquitoes”. Mto wa Mbu village is a local agricultural hub, the town is famous for its crops of rice and the distinctive red bananas that Tanzania is known for. Moto wa mbu gives the opportunity to interact with local farmers, as well as artisans, craftsmen and painters. A sampling of the local banana beer adds a unique taste of local flavor.
After lunch drive to Manyara national Park. You will explore the beauty of Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara provides opportunities for viewing and observing over 300 birds including flamingos. While most known for baboons and tree climbing Lions the lake and its surroundings is also home to herbivores such as hippos, impala, buffalo, giraffe and warthog. After a Game drive to the camp.

DAY 8: LAKE MANYARA TO LAKE EYASI
Depart Lake Manyara after breakfast and drive south west towards Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop Karatu and meet story taller for more culture experience then drive to Gibbs Farm for lunch, then proceed with your drive to Lake Eyasi where you will be welcomed by two tribes called Datoga and Hadzabe (Bush Men). Dinner and overnight.

DAY 9: LAKE EYASI BUSH MEN AND DATOGA VISIT
This day you will wake up very early for the bush men visit as they move around early morning for hunting. After hunting and gathering with them you will drive back to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon you will go out again for a second visit to another tribe called Datoga for a different cultural experience. They are similar to Mburu and Maasai people. Late afternoon drive back for dinner and overnight.
The Hadzabe of lake Eyasi hinterland, which lies to the east of Karatu, represent a unique and increasingly fragile link between modern east Africa and the most ancient of the region’s human lifestyles and languages. Numbering at most 2,000 individuals, the Hadzabe are Tanzania’s only remaining tribe of true hunter-gatherers, and their Hadzabe language is the one of the only two in the country to be classified in the Khoisan family, a group of click-based tongues that also includes the San (Bushmen) of southern Africa.

DAY 10: LAKE EYASI NGORONGORO CRATER
When at last you arrive at the highest point of the hillsides of the Ngorongoro crater, a garden of Eden on Earth opens up at your feet. You will never have seen anything quite like it, so much life in one single space. For this the Maasai, who arrived here two thousand years ago called it el-Nkoronkoro “Gift of Life”.

The crater forms part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, in 1979 it was declared a World Heritage site by Unesco. It covers an area of 8000 km2 and where the Oldupai Gorge can be found, an important site for the investigation of the evolution of the human species.
DAY 11: FULL DAY NGORONGORO CRATER
Today you will wake up early morning visit a Maasai village and meet with an elder to learn about local culture and traditions, witness a traditional and enjoy the Masaai dance. Set up on a full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, exploring the panoramic, short grass prairies along the floor of this ancient volcanic caldera, home for Black Rhino as well as Lions, Hyenas, Gazelles, Wildebeests and Zebras. Ngorongoro is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also see colourfully garbed Maasai herdsmen, who call the stunning landscape home. After lunch then proceed with game drive then drive back to the lodge.

DAY 12: NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA
After breakfast drive to Arusha, approximately 3 hour’s drive. Today you will have the opportunity to shop and again visit the Cultural Centre Museum. Drive to Coffee Lodge check in for your day room. Lunch at Shanga Shangaa then return to your day room and final packing. Rest until 5 pm when you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your check for your departure back home.
